For his part, the Prime Minister’s Advisor, Lieutenant General Sami al-Sudani, stated that adopting the pre-customs declaration system represents a pivotal step in reducing customs evasion and regulating the movement of goods, stressing the government’s commitment to developing digital systems and electronic linking between the concerned authorities, which contributes to accelerating procedures and protecting public revenues.
