Iraqi Private Banks League (IPBL) took part in the International Conference of the League for Promotion of Medicine and Medical Appliances, titled “Future of Iraq’s Medicine Security”.
Representing the League, Deputy Executive Director, Ahmed Al-Hashemi, joined discussions in the second session focused on banking services and digital transformation.
Digitalization and automation have played a central role in curbing financial corruption and enhancing transparency in the banking sector, Al-Hashemi stated during his remarks, stressing their impact in streamlining electronic payments, tracking financial transactions, and connecting stakeholders through reliable digital networks.
He affirmed the League’s support for all initiatives aimed at integrating the health and pharmaceutical sectors into the digital banking system, with the goal of simplifying payment and collection processes and ensuring efficient service delivery to citizens.
