The Iraqi Private Banks League, supported by the Central Bank of Iraq, has held an exhibition entitled "Banking Services and Electronic Payment" in Dijlah village.

This event has witnessed a significant turnout of citizens exploring services from participating banks and electronic payment companies. 

Among the attendees were Adnan Asaad, General Director of Payments and Information Technology at the Central Bank of Iraq, and Ali Tariq, Executive Director of the League.

Adnan commended the significance of holding such events in educating citizens about financial services and fostering a culture of electronic payments. Also, he emphasized that the growth is obvious in indicators of account openings, card usage, and point-of-sale transactions. These are crucial steps in reducing cash reliance and shifting toward electronic payments.
