The Iraqi Private Banks League, in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, conducted a training session on the "ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Risk Management System," with participation from several banks operating in Iraq.

This collaboration between the League and IFC is based on a previously signed agreement aimed at implementing ESG standards for banks to support the development of the banking sector, in coordination with the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI).
